Hunter gets some training from the kids

Hunter is an 8 year old male that gets along great with older kids. Recently, one of our younger volunteers , Delainey (11 years old) worked with Hunter and had this to say about him:"My name is Delainey. Today I went with my Aunt and my cousin Zach (10 years old) to the rescue to help with all of the GSP's. Zach and I worked with Hunter. I walked him for awhile. Sometimes he pulled, but not when we walked by dogs. Then we trained him. I loved working with him because he is such a sweetheart. He is not aggressive, but he does sometimes catch other dogs attention. He did a lot of good sits and downs. He was good for me and Zach because he didn't growl at us. I know GSP's are nicknamed 'velcro' dog, but I think I have a special connection with Hunter. I will miss him so much, but can't wait for him to find his forever home."If you want to learn more about Hunter, please click here.  If you would like to complete an application, let us know that you are interested in meeting Hunter.
