Holden is Safe!

Holden was abandoned in a vacant home after his family was evicted and left him behind.  He then was confiscated by Animal Control and taken to the shelter where he waited for an extended period of time for his family, but no one came for him.When Holden was made available to us, we didn't waste any time to pull him from the shelter, as we know a shelter is a dangerous place for any senior dog, and time was of the essence.The name Holden means "Kindly Gracious" which is much more than we can say for the family that abandoned him.  This handsome boy deserved much more than he had received.Many thanks go out to everyone that shared Holden's photo on Facebook, and for those who contacted us directly.Holden is now safe with the CA GSP Rescue, and we will update you as we learn more about this sweet guy.
