Hartz recalls Chicken Chews and Oinkies

On January 25, 2013 The Hartz Mountain Corporation announced that they were voluntarily recalling their Hartz ® Chicken Chews™ and Hartz ® Oinkies® Pig Skin Twists wrapped with Chicken for dogs because they contain trace amounts of unapproved antibiotic residue. While the antibiotics are approved for use in poultry in China as well as other countries, they have not been approved in the United States. No other Hartz products were affected by this recall.
