Golden Paw - Heidi

We open up Adopt a Senior month with Heidi, a wonderful female Senior GSP, petite, affectionate, and cat-friendly.Sadly, Heidi passed away in mid-October from an inoperable tumor before we could find her a forever home.When senior GSPs come to the rescue, it is confusing and sad. Most have known the comfort of a home and family for many years and the volunteers, although attentive, are no substitute for the people they lived with. Our walks are not the same as a yard to sniff and nap in.

We don't turn dogs away just because they are older and we try our best to make them comfortable while we search for a home.  Can YOU make the difference in the life of a senior by adopting one of these great dogs?  Can you foster, adopt, or share the information of our many, great senior dogs?
