Foster slowly comes out of his shell

At the last workday, Volunteer Kimberly made Foster her project. A few days earlier, Foster had been rescued from a local shelter. Unsure and afraid, he would plant his entire body to the ground at any sudden movement or sound. Kimberly, exhibiting patience and understanding, gave Foster her undivided attention and love. Starting slowly and building trust, she was able to take Foster on a walk and the results were amazing. During the walk, Foster exhibited normal playful dog behavior. His tail was up and he would playfully bark. However, upon their return, while he was a little better, he was still very unsure and fearful. A big thanks to all the Volunteers that helped out at the recent workday and especially Kimberly for taking the time to spend with Foster!
