Dutch

Yesterday evening Dutch passed away. Earlier in the day he had been bit several times by a rattlesnake and was immediately rushed to College Pet Clinic. Once at the Vet's office, he appeared to be stabilizing and breathing easier. Unfortunately, shortly after being left so that he could be closely observed, he took a turn for the worse.Everything that could have possibly be done to save Dutch was done, however, there was just too much venom in his system.Dutch has been a regular at Saturday Morning Obedience and a favorite of all the volunteers. He was amazingly young for being 10 years old. He will be missed by all.
