Dog Food Recall

recall_alertOn August 14, 2013 Procter and Gamble announced a voluntarily recall for specific lots of its dry pet foods because they may have been contaminated with Salmonella.  Not only can salmonella  affect animals eating the products, there is also a risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products. The products affected come from one specific production plant and include dog, puppy, and cat food under the Eukanuba and Iams labels. The list of lot numbers is very large, so if you have purchased a Eukanuba or Iams product, please see the company websites to see if your product is included: visit their websites at www.iams.com or www.eukanuba.com
