Buttercup Is Adopted!
Buttercup finds her forever home! Beth has had German Shorthaired Pointers for over a decade, and when she came out to visit us at the Pet Expo earlier this month, there was one dog that caught her eye. Buttercup! Beth fell in love with Buttercup and her sweet disposition.Beth is retired, and has experience with the younger generation of GSP's, and was looking for an older dog to add to her family. Beth told us "I am retired, and while I do get around, I am not able to chase after a dog. I am home pretty much 24/7, but will take her with me everywhere". For a "velcro" dog like Buttercup, this couldn't be a more perfect home for her. Just a few days later, Beth came out to the rescue to adopt Buttercup!Beth tells us that she has given Buttercup a new name, and now calls her Lily. We found out shortly after Lily went home with Beth that she must have been holding all that energy in, because she told us that Lily can run like the wind, and runs faster than any GSP she has ever known! She thinks she may be mixed with a Whippet! "Lily loves to give kisses, and she nibbles on my toes to wake me up".Beth supports a local radio station, and they featured Lily's photo on their website in their pet gallery! http://www.starz1radio.com/#!
