Buddy is safe!
CA GSP Rescue was notified about a GSP Mix in a high kill shelter last week. Unfortunately for Buddy, this was his third time there. He came into the same shelter as a stray in 2009 as a puppy and was adopted out.
In April of this year he was returned as his people lost their home. He was adopted out again on April 15th and returned exactly one month later on May 15th because of his skin condition and, while the new owner had been made aware of his skin condition, chose not to treat him nor invest in care for the condition.Thank you to all those who contacted us about Buddy through e-mail and Facebook, and a very special thank you to volunteer Dan for acting so quickly to spring Buddy from the shelter for the very last time!
Buddy is going to need some medical attention, and being an all volunteer organization, in situations like this, we need to ask for your help.
