Bella's condition

Bella H

Bella was the girl that was rescued last week from a local shelter (see Bella is Safe). She isn't up just yet for adoption as she has a few health issues. The first being demodectic mange that is often found in GSPs that we rescue from high stress environments such as shelters. However, Bella's demodectic mange could have been brought on because she was being treated with steroids for masticatory myositis. In addition, Bella was also diagnosed with pneumonia. The good news is that all these conditions are treatable and Bella's prognosis is good. Watch our website over the next several months as Bella receives treatment and medication for her conditions and, when she is ready, will be available for adoption. If you would like to assist us in helping Bella, please consider making a small donation.
