Here's adorable GSP mix Mac to announce the first winner of the California GSP Rescue's hotel raffles! This raffle is now over  - and we have a winner! Denise A. of La Mesa, California will be receiving a certificate for a two night stay at the beautiful Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Golf Resort in Cathedral City.  We know she will enjoy the spectacular views of the San Jacinto mountains, and the relaxing atmosphere of this lovely hotel.We have a huge thank you to the Doubletree Hotel for donating this wonderful prize, which allows us to use 100% of the proceeds to care for the dogs at the Rescue. Almost 1400 tickets were sold, which will be enormously helpful in paying the many veterinary bills that are an every-day fact in any rescue.We also have a big thank you for Denise, and the other participants in the raffle! Their purchase of raffle tickets helps us continue our efforts to rescue these wonderful dogs. We hope they - and you - will continue to follow us on Facebook and our website for future raffles. Some other generous hotels in the Palm Springs have donated stays, and we will share those with you shortly!And finally, here are a few details of how the raffle is conducted:All sales of raffle tickets are entered into a program provided by RandonPicker.com  This site generously offers a free program to non-profits. When you buy raffle tickets, an email is generated to our volunteer Jill, who copies the information into the RandomPicker website. Don't worry, we do not share any addresses or credit card information with this website, and none of your information is ever sold. Once raffle ticket sales are closed, a final check is done that all tickets sold are properly entered into the website. Participants are assigned a random number for each raffle ticket they buy by RandomPicker. Then, volunteer Cindy logs on to the website, and pushes the "magic button" to select a winner. RandomPicker then makes a random pick of a winning number.Thanks for playing, and Thank you for your support!!
