Adopt Me! Mac!

Mac is a 9 year old black and white GSP Mix who has the energy and spirit of a puppy, with the ability of an adult to be calm!Mac came to us when he was too much energy for his owners, and they asked us to find a home where this boy with a spunky personality could get all the exercise and attention this energetic boy really needs.They sent him for professional obedience training, but all of the obedience training available still meant that they needed to continue with the training in the home, and that Mac needed lots of running, playing and walking and stimulation to help him continue to thrive.This amazing GSP Mix has the perfect amount of energy for someone lucky enough to adopt him! Mac is house trained, crate trained and knows the following commands: "sit", "stay", "down", "shake", "turn over" and "turn around". He is also good on a leash, not something we often see in a GSP!He has always been very loving towards his family who have had him since he was found as a young puppy in the streets of Mexico. Mac was unfortunately given up by no fault of his own when his elderly owner was unable to keep up with him and he is looking for a new family to love, take hikes with, and snuggle with. He's been great with other dogs at the rescue and loves to play with the ones he knows. He can be a little unsure around very large groups of dogs, but takes direction from the volunteers wonderfully and soon makes friends!Learn more about Mac here.Mac is available for adoption!
