Somm
Somm is a stunning seven-month-old puppy. At 58 pounds, this solid liver make isn't fully grown yet and will likely add a few more pounds. Somm came to us as an owner turn-in as the previous owners were living in a small space and unable to put in the time for training and exercise that he requires.
Somm loves being in the field and romping with any other German Shorthaired Pointers that will play. He can be a little forward when attempting to engage the older GSP’s but is respectful when they do not wish to play.
Somm has received some training and will show off when there are no other distractions. He knows multiple commands and will perform them for you in a quiet setting with no other distractions. Being a young pup, he does get distracted easily.
The Basics about Somm:
Gender: Male
Dogs: Good with other dogs
Cats: Unknown
Kids: Unknown
The Good Stuff: Somm is housetrained, crate trained, good with other GSP’s, good on car rides, and loves to learn
The Challenges: Somm does pull on a leash and will need some further leash training. Being a young GSP, Somm requires lots of exercise and mental stimulation, and then some more exercise. If you have the time and can provide this for Somm, he will be an excellent companion for any person or family.
