Ruger

Ruger is a three-year-old male white and liver German Shorthaired Pointer. This sweet, active young male was picked up at a local animal shelter. Amazing - no one came looking for him.

Ruger is active and will need plenty of exercise and training. He regularly gets exercised and walks but recently went on a bike ride and loved it! Ruger did 4 miles and could have done more! He likes playing with his toys - squeaky toys are his favorite.

When introduced to other well-socialized dogs, Ruger has done well. He likes to play but is also content exploring on his own. The few times he has played with other dogs, he has been good.

Ruger will need someone who can give him the exercise he needs and continued obedience training. He seems very soft and will require a gentle hand for training.
