Richard

Meet Richard, a one-and-a-half-year-old liver roan German Shorthaired Pointer bursting with playful energy! This goofy charmer is an outdoor enthusiast, happiest when he has a big yard to explore. While most of his time has been spent in the backyard, Richard is still learning the ropes of indoor living, but he's a fast learner!

Richard shines with his friendly personality. He loves attention, enjoys playing with people and other dogs, and even has a fondness for fetching sticks. Volunteers describe him as remarkably calm and sweet, appreciating good ear rubs and head pats. He's also very gentle, demonstrated by his tendency to jump on people softly while backing up to offer space.

However, Richard can sometimes be a little shy when meeting new people. It generally doesn't last long before he warms up. Overall, Richard's sweet and playful nature shines through.
