Meet Hero! A little over a year old young, active, and quite handsome, liver roan German Shorthaired Pointer!

Hero was found as a stray with a face injury. We aren't sure what happened to him, but we had him checked out by our vet, and it appears to be from another dog. However, it hasn't dampened his spirit! Dr. Kang said he will live a normal life.

Hero is a love, and gets along great with other dogs, big and small, and loves giving and getting attention from people. Highly trainable, and is very food motivated. He will do almost anything for a treat.

This boy is a ton of fun, and loves to play, and enjoys playing fetch! He also enjoys water! Could play in the water all day long!

He does well on leash, but will sometimes pull and is very strong.

Didn't mind sitting through the fireworks to get some extra pets.

All over sweet boy. Just as cute as can be.

Food motivated, so easy to train.

Great manners and listens well.

Always happy to see you.

Loves to play and loves water.

The Challenges:

Exercise Requirements: 30 to 45 minutes twice a day (or more).

Will need overall training and introduction to a home environment.

Young and strong - needs some leash training.

Can be very vocal/talkative when he gets excited and wants attention.

Being a young and active GSP, Hero will need plenty of daily exercise and continued training, so an already active person or family is a must to keep up with this youngster.
