Charlie

Charlie is a 6 year old, tall and sweet GSP.. He enjoys pets and fetch, almost as much as hunting lizards! He can pull hard on a leash but is learning to walk without pulling and making progress! Charlie even knows how to run alongside a bike, which is good because this boy has energy!

Charlie came to us from an abusive situation and will need a special home to ensure he continues to do as well as he's been doing at the rescue.

The Basics:

Gender: Male

Age: 6

Dogs: Lived with another dog, but can seem uneasy with some. A mild-mannered dog should be a good match.

Cats: unknown

Children: No small children

The Good Stuff: Happy guy, likes water, likes to play fetch, loves pets and is affectionate with people he knows.

The Challenges: Charlie was impounded in an abuse case and can be sensitive to being grabbed by the collar. He will need a gentle hand to guide him.
