Aurora
Aurora is a one-year-old liver roan female German Shorthaired Pointer. Rescued from a local shelter where her owner had surrendered her, someone later adopted her and a few days later returned her.
We have been getting to know Aurora since. She is young and full of energy. Aurora would do best in a home that will give her plenty of exercise. Daily hiking, biking, or running (or possibly all three) are suggested ways to help provide her with the necessary exercise.
She is terrific when being leashed; she will wait patiently, sitting for the leash to be put on, but once on a leash, she gets excited and can pull.
Aurora might be best as an only dog or possibly with a well-socialized active dog that will tolerate her energy; however, in a multi-dog home, she will need to be managed. Aurora likes to play with toys and will even fetch. She is a great dog and will be a lot of fun for a home that will provide her with exercise and training.
