Allie and Ellie
Allie and Ellie are sweet seven-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointers. They were surrendered to us by their owner who had them since they were 5 days old, but unfortunately, were unable to care for them any longer. Usually, we'd list the dogs separately, but these siblings are a bonded pair, and we feel so strongly about keeping them together we are creating just one post.
Allie is the smaller of the two and a little more reserved. It takes her a little longer to warm up to new people than it does her sister, Ellie. However, she is just as sweet. She likes following her around as they hunt around the field or go on a walk.
Ellie is the more outgoing of the two. She warms up to new faces quickly, which can help her reserved sister feel more at ease. Ellie is hypersensitive to noise and can have a severe panic attack if there are any loud explosive type noises - think fireworks or gunfire. She can also be an escape artist opening gates and climbing fences. She and her sister will need a secure yard.
Both girls were allowed in the house but neither are house trained. We are confident both can be trained with little effort. Allie and Ellie have done well when introduced to well-socialized dogs. The girls like to be close to each other and will spend time cuddled together after being exercised. They are sweet beautiful girls who need to be adopted together. A quiet house will be ideal for them. They need a loving home who will give them lots of love, and the life they deserve.
If you have a place in your heart for two dogs, please consider Allie and Ellie, please apply here. If not, please consider sharing this post and helping us find a forever home for the pair.
