Abbie is an 11-year-old female GSP. She can be a little shy initially but will quickly warm up to you.

Her family surrendered her because they didn't have the time to give her the needed exercise and attention. Unlike other GSPs her age, Abbie is very active and will need someone that has the time to exercise her. She has been good with other dogs and will even engage some in an attempt to play. Depending on the other dog, she could go to a multi-dog home or be content as an only dog.

Abbie, like many GSPs, is smart. She learns fast and likes to please, and she will need the mental stimulation that is important to the breed. If she doesn't get the mental stimulation, attention, and exercise, she will look for ways to entertain herself outside most fenced yards. However, she is good on a leash and likes walks.
