Jack 3 yr old male GSP is in need of a temporary foster home. Owner is being deployed to Afghanistan and is asking for someone to watch his dog until he returns in approximately 6 months. Jack is good with children and dogs but not cats. He is house and crate trained. While Jack won't need any training, he will need someone that can give him plenty of exercise.

Stop by and visit GSP Rescue at the Bonsall Farmers Market at the Bonsall Community Center. GSP Surf Dog T-shirts, Rescue T-shirts and Rescue mugs will be on sale (all proceeds benefit GSP Rescue) or get more information on some of the dogs currently available for adoption. Presently we can't take any dogs but hopefully we will soon. Adoption applications are available at the booth.

The California GSP Rescue Needs Your Help!

Due to a recent chain of events, the California German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue is desperately looking to place several dogs in a short amount of time.

Many of these dogs are seniors wanting nothing more than a place to nap, minimal exercise and affection. A few of the dogs are special needs requiring a little more attention than others while some of the dogs aren’t even GSPs but other breeds and mixes. All the dogs need to be placed.

Time is running out.

Loving, compassionate people are needed.

Do you have the resources and can provide a home for one of the dogs? Do you know someone that may have recently lost their dog and could possibly provide a home for one of the dogs remaining few years? Would you like your love to be returned tenfold? If yes, please submit an application to adopt or foster.
